USF WBB: USF Women’s Basketball Signs Incoming Freshman Jelena Bulajic

TAMPA, Fla. – April 16, 2025 – South Florida women’s basketball Head Coach Jose Fernandez announced the signing of incoming freshman Jelena Bulajic.

JELENA BULAJIC INTERNATIONAL HIGHLIGHTS

  • Played for the Montenegro Senior National Team in the 2025 FIBA Women’s EuroBasket Qualifiers.
  • Named Most Valuable Player and selected to the All-Star Five at the 2024 FIBA U18 Women’s EuroBasket Division B (Averaged 21.1 points and 5.4 rebounds per game).
  • Competed in six FIBA events with the Montenegro Junior National Team:
    • 2024 FIBA U18 Women’s EuroBasket Division B
    • 2024 FIBA U20 Women’s EuroBasket
    • 2023 FIBA U16 Women’s European Championship Division B
    • 2023 FIBA U20 Women’s European Championship
    • 2022 FIBA U16 Women’s European Championship Division B
    • 2022 FIBA U20 Women’s European Championship Division B
  • Across all Junior National Team events averaged: 12.0 points per game, 4.3 rebounds per game, and 1.3 assists per game.

Coach Fernandez on Bulajic: “Jelena (Bulajic) brings experience at the guard position, having played with the Montenegro senior national team. She’s a 3-point shooter who can stretch the floor. She also has a good feel for the game and will fit well in our system.”
