HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2 CCA) announced the 2025 Men’s Basketball All-South Region teams on Friday afternoon. The second-ranked Nova Southeastern Sharks Men’s Basketball team had two representatives. MJ Iraldi was recognized as the D2 CCA South Region Player of the Year, in addition to garnering first-team honors, while Dallas Graziani joined Iraldi on the first-team.
Iraldi, the Sunshine State Conference Player of the Year and SSC tournament Most Valuable Player, adds another honor to his stellar 2024-25 season for Nova Southeastern. The senior set the NSU single season scoring record in the Sunshine State Conference tournament championship game, scoring a team-high 27 points against No. 23 Florida Southern. Iraldi is the most prolific scorer in the South Regional, leading in both points (746) and points-per-game (24.1). Iraldi has scored 30 or more points in eight games during the season, including a career-best 42 (tied for second most in a single game in program history) against Embry-Riddle on February 26th. During the SSC tournament, Iraldi totaled 62 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 steals, while making nine three-point baskets.
Graziani, a first-team All-Sunshine State Conference and SSC all-defensive team honoree, drives Division II’s highest scoring offense, leading the country in assists (300), assists-per-game (9.7) and assist/turnover ratio (5.66). Graziani is the only NSU Men’s Basketball player to surpass 300 steals in a season and recorded his 1,000th collegiate point during the SSC Championship game. Graziani set the single-game assist record (17) against St. Thomas Aquinas (NY) on November 3rd at the Small College Basketball Hall of Fame Classic Tournament in Lakeland, Fla., and tied the record on January 29th against Lynn. Graziani leads NSU with 14 double-doubles during the 2024-25 season.
Both Iraldi and Graziani are Top-50 candidates for the 2025 Bevo Francis Award, presented by Small College Basketball. The duo can now be nominated to received D2 CCA All-American honors.
