UF LAX: Hamilton Earns Big 12 Freshman of the Week

The Powder Springs, Ga. native totaled four goals and two assists against No. 15 Loyola, helping the Gators go 1-0 on the week.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida lacrosse freshman Clark Hamilton earned her second Big 12 Freshman of the Week nod this season, with the news announced Tuesday afternoon.

Hamilton totaled six points on four goals and two assists in the Gators one game against No. 15 Loyola on Saturday, leading to a 1-0 week. Her six points and two assists were both career highs.

The Powder Springs Ga., native has tallied three consecutive hat-tricks, logging 12 goals and 14 points over her last three games. Hamilton has four hat-tricks on the year, tied for a team-high and has recorded two games with five goals.

The freshman leads the Gators in goals this season with 18, to go along with two assists, six ground balls and a draw control. Hamilton has a .581 shooting percentage, firing a total of 31 shots this season.
