Viera, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern University Women’s Golf team leads play at the Space Coast Collegiate Championship through day one. NSU (1st/291/287) led by Haruka Muta (-1), the Sharks finished Monday with four players inside the top-10 (Maria Torres (E), T-2nd / Ariana Carvalho (+1), T-4th / and Lua Pousa Dacasa (+2), 6th).

RESULTS
- Haruka Muta (1st/73/70) recorded an eagle and five birdies her first round of play.
- In round two Muta shot bogey free through the front nine with four birdies, adding a birdie and a total of six pars on the back nine to finish day one of the tournament in first place individually at one-under.
- Maria Torres (T2nd/74/70) tallied four birdies and nine pars through round one on Monday.
- Torres, in her second shot over par just once on the front nine, hitting the turn and tallying an eagle and finishing off the round with consecutive birdies, ending her day tied for second shooting even.
- Ariana Carvalho (T4th/71/74) began play in great form, with three birdies and 13 pars around just two bogeys.
- Carvalho, added three total birdies in her second round, to finish day one of play tied for fourth at one-over.
- Lua Pousa Dacasa (6th/73/73) collected two birdies and six pars to begin the day, after the turn she shot par on five consecutive holes with an additional pair of birdies.
- In round two Pousa Dacasa kept the same form through the front nine with a pair of birdies, tallying two more birdies on the back nine, and completing play in sixth place at two-over.
- Rosanna Halls (T33/80/75) had a total of four birdies in her two rounds of play, ending the day at eleven-over.
