THOMASVILLE, Ga. – Florida Atlantic men’s golf continues its spring season on Monday and Tuesday at the Seminole Intercollegiate in Thomasville, Ga. Florida State is the tournament host this week at Glen Arven Country Club. The two-day event will consist of 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday.
The Lineup
The Owls will keep the same lineup used at last week’s Daytona Beach Intercollegiate led by senior Jake Hibbert. Hibbert has been the Owls’ top finisher in the last two events. He has three consecutive Top 20 finishes.
The Course
Glen Arven Country Club will play as a par 71 at 6,876 yards. Founded in 1892, Glen Arven is one of the US’s oldest and most exclusive private country clubs. Located in Thomasville, Ga., GACC is a 50-minute drive from Florida State’s campus in Tallahassee.
The Field
This week’s field features 15 teams and 81 individuals. The Owls will be grouped with Lipscomb and Augusta for the first two rounds on Monday. Play will begin at 9:45 a.m. on the first tee.
