UF MTN: Gators Look to Continue Success, Faces Kentucky Friday

 Men’s tennis looks to continue their winning streak in Friday’s home match-up with the Wildcats

GAINESVILLE, Fla.- The Gators return to action at Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex on Friday, February 28, against the Kentucky Wildcats. The match is set for a 5 p.m. start.

Florida enters Friday’s match with a 7-4 overall record and 2-0 in conference play. The all-time series between UF and Kentucky is in favor of the Gators at 52-19. The last time the teams met was March 8, 2024 in Lexington. The Wildcats claimed the victory, 6-1.

The Gators’ last contest was a 4-3 victory over Alabama, where the Orange and Blue earned their second conference win. The Gators did not claim the doubles point against the Crimson Tide, but rallied in singles to comeback in thrilling fashion.

The Wildcats enter Monday’s match with an 8-3 overall record. UK’s last outing was a 4-2 win over Mississippi State.
