Keli’i Kekuewa enters his first season with the Jacksonville Jaguars as assistant offensive line coach/run game specialist and his sixth season coaching in the NFL. He most recently served as assistant offensive line coach for the Carolina Panthers in 2024. Kekuewa aided an offensive line that cleared the way for RB Chuba Hubbard to become the Panthers’ first 1,000-yard rusher since 2019. Hubbard’s 1,195 rushing yards were sixth in the NFC and eighth in the NFL. Additionally, the Panthers’ 36.0 sacks allowed in 2024 tied for sixth fewest in the NFC and 11th fewest in the league.
Trevor Mendelson begins his first season in the NFL in Jacksonville as an offensive assistant. Previously, Mendelson served as offensive line coach at Western Michigan in 2023 before being promoted to co-offensive coordinator in addition to his role with the offensive line in 2024. Under Mendelson’s leadership, the Broncos’ 2024 offense ranked second in the MAC in total touchdowns (48), rushing touchdowns (28) and points per game (28.9) and third in the MAC in rushing yards (2,649) and rushing yards per game (183.0).
Fred Walker enters his first season in Jacksonville as an offensive assistant and fourth season coaching in the NFL in 2025. Walker served as an offensive assistant for two seasons (2022-23) with Las Vegas, before being named the Raiders’ assistant quarterbacks coach in 2024. In 2024, Walker helped QB Gardner Minshew II record three games with at least a 75.0 completion percentage in his nine starts, tied for the ninth-most in the NFL in 2024 (min. 25 attempts). Minshew’s three games with at least a 75.0 completion percentage tied for third-most in a single season in franchise history and were the most by a Raiders quarterback since 2021.
Bill Sheridan returns to the NFL in 2025 as a senior defensive assistant for Jacksonville. Most recently, Sheridan spent three seasons as linebackers coach for the UFL’s Arlington Renegades (2022-24). Sheridan helped lead the Renegades to win the then-XFL championship game in 2023. Prior to his time with the Renegades, Sheridan was named inside linebackers coach for Wisconsin (2022) after two seasons as defensive line coach at Air Force (2020-21) and linebackers coach at Boston College (2018-19). Sheridan spent the previous 13 seasons coaching in the NFL as defensive coordinator for the New York Giants (2009) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2012-13), and as linebackers coach for Giants (2005-08), Miami Dolphins (2010-11) and Detroit Lions (2014-17).
Eric Ciano enters his 16th season in the NFL and his first with Jacksonville as director of strength and conditioning. He spent the previous 15 seasons with the Buffalo Bills (2010-24), most recently as the head strength and conditioning coach, overseeing the year-round strength and conditioning program for the Bills. In 2020, Ciano was named the NFL’s strength and conditioning coach of the year by the Professional Football Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association.
Paul Jackson enters his first year in Jacksonville in 2025 as assistant strength and conditioning coach after spending four seasons as Utah State’s director of athletic development for football (2021-24).
Lanier Coleman begins his first season in Jacksonville in 2025 as assistant strength and conditioning coach. Previously, Coleman served as the senior associate director of football strength and conditioning at Florida State (2020-25).
