Florida looks to continue its success in Monday’s match against Alabama
GAINESVILLE, Fla.- The Gators are back in action at Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex on Monday, February 24, against Alabama. The match is set for a 12 p.m. start.
Florida enters Monday’s match with a 6-4 overall record and 1-0 in conference play. The all-time series between UF and Alabama is in favor of the Gators with 45-23. The last time the teams met was March 17, 2024 in Tuscaloosa. The Crimson Tide claimed the victory, 5-2.
The Gators’ last contest was a 7-0 shutout victory over Auburn, where the Orange and Blue earned their first win over a nationally ranked opponent. The Gators claimed the doubles point against the Tigers, giving them an early advantage. Florida continued their momentum in singles taking all six courts.
The Crimson Tide enter Monday’s match with an 8-2 record. Alabama’s last outing was a 4-1 loss to South Carolina in their conference opener.
