Florida earns a spot in ITA rankings and see three Gators ranked
GAINESVILLE, Fla. -After falling out of the rankings early in the season, Florida men’s tennis has reentered the ITA (Inrankings at No. 49 in this week’s team standings. The Orange and Blue boasts a 5-4 overall record with their last outing being a 6-1 victory over North Florida.
Individually, Jeremy Jin<https://floridagators.com/sports/mens-tennis/roster/jeremy-jin/16118> remains the only Gator ranked in singles, earning a No. 61 ranking. Jin is currently 1-1 on the season.
In doubles, the duo of Tanapatt Nirundorn<https://floridagators.com/sports/mens-tennis/roster/tanapatt-nirundorn/16114> and Henry Jefferson<https://floridagators.com/sports/mens-tennis/roster/henry-jefferson/16661> landed at No. 14 in the latest rankings after holding the No. 11 spot. The pair holds a 2-1 overall record and is 1-1 against nationally ranked opponents.
Florida opens conference action on Saturday, February 22 at 12 p.m against Auburn at the Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex.
