OCALA, Fla. – The Sharks returned to the pool at FAST on Thursday night for day two of the 2025 Sunshine State Conference Championships. The Sharks continued to collect more medals on Thursday, bringing their total medal count through two days up to four gold medals, three silver medals, and one bronze medal. As both teams gear up for the third day of the meet, the Women’s team remains in first place, and the Men’s team moves up to third place.

- Hailey Williams was victorious in the 1000 free with a time of 9:53.10.
- In the 200 IM, Emilia Ronningdal took first with a time of 1:59.47. Finishing second, with a time of 2:00.95, was May Lowy.
- With a time of 22.78, Kristina Orban finished second in the 50 free. Maya Esparza placed third with a time of 22.87.
- The group of Maria Goncalves, Hannah Montgomery, Orban, and Esparza secured first in the 200 medley relay. The group set a new SSC meet record with their time of 1:39.46.

- Luca Alessandrini placed second in the 1000 free with a time of 9:00.73.
The Sharks return to pool in Ocala, FL on February 14th for day three of the Sunshine State Conference Championships. Events scheduled for day three include the 100 Fly, 400 Individual Medley, 200 Freestyle, and 400 Medley Relay. Prelims begin at 10:00AM, followed by the finals at 6:00PM.
