MELBOURNE, Fla. – Samantha Beck went to Savannah, Ga. for the weekend and came back with six first-place finishes and that earned her Sunshine State Women’s Swimmer of the Week honors.
She took the top spot in the 200-yard breaststroke, 400-yard individual medley, 200-yard individual medley and was part of the 4X50, 4X200 and 4X400 relay team that took first place as well.
She is ranked No. 11 in the nation in the 400-yard individual medley and 22nd in the 200-yard breaststroke.
Beck is a freshman from Sparks, Nev. and this is her first SSC Player of the Week Honor.
