USF WBB: Bulls Top Temple For Fifth Straight Win, 64-57

Philadelphia, Pa. – Feb. 8, 2025 – Graduate guard Sammie Puisis (15 points) collared her 18th double-digit scoring game of the season in South Florida women’s basketball’s (16-8, 9-2), 64-57, win against Temple (13-10, 7-5) at The Liacouras Center on Saturday afternoon. The Bulls are on a five-game winning streak.

Puisis (four 3-pointers) has logged three or more 3-pointers in 13 games this campaign. Senior forward L’or Mputu (15 points) and junior forward Carla Brito (11 points, nine rebounds) rounded out the Bulls who finished in double-digit points. Graduate guard Mama Dembele (eight assists) has had 15 games this season with five or more assists.

Temple was led by Tiarra East with 15 points, four steals, two assists, and a pair of rebounds.

In the final frame, the Bulls made nine of their 13 total makes at the charity stripe to hold on for the USF win.
