Tampa, Fla. – Feb. 3, 2025 – South Florida women’s basketball senior forward L’or Mputu has been named the American Athletic Conference (AAC) Player of the Week, announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
In the Bull’s pair of big wins this past week Mputu averaged a double-double (11.0 ppg., 10.0 rpg.). In the win against UTSA, Mputu led all glass crashers with 10 rebounds and three blocks, which is her seventh double-digit rebounding performance of the year and second game of the season with three or more blocks. Against North Texas, Mputu (14 points, 10 rebounds) collared her fourth double-double of the season (fifth career).
Mputu is the second USF performer to earn an AAC Player of the Week nod this season, as Sammie Puisis earned the league accolade on Dec. 23.
