The junior defender earns her second Preseason All-American honor for the 2025 season.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida lacrosse junior defender Theresa Bragg has been named a Preseason Nike Lacrosse Third Team Media All-American, announced Monday morning.
The Severna Park, Md. earns her second preseason all-American honor for the 2025 season, corralling USA Lacrosse Magazine honorable mention on Jan. 22. Bragg was named to the Preseason All-Big 12 Team last week, while being voted Big 12 Defender of the Year, ahead of the 2025 season.
Bragg was named a captain of the 2025 Gators, starting all 23 games last season and starting 44 of 44 games through her first two seasons in Gainesville. The 2024 Second Team All-AAC selection totaled 24 ground balls, 16 caused turnovers, three draw controls and one assist last season.
The No. 5/9 Gators travel to Baltimore to take on No. 11/7 Johns Hopkins on Friday at 11 a.m. The full list of all-Americans is down below.
