1/14/2025 | Baseball BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic’s baseball and softball teams have announced their broadcast schedules for the upcoming 2025 season. All American Athletic Conference games at both the FAU Softball Stadium and the FAU Baseball Stadium will air on ESPN+. Additionally, ESPN+ will air the Owls’ non-conference baseball broadcasts against Miami (Mar. 18), UCF (Apr. 22) and Florida Gulf Coast (May 6). In total, ESPN+ will offer 30 broadcasts in the spring between the two programs. All remaining non-conference games for FAU’s baseball team as well as every non-conference contest for the softball team will air for free on FAUSports.com. The Owls’ softball season kicks off with two tournaments on Joan Joyce Field, beginning with the Paradise Classic from Feb. 6-9 featuring the Owls, Clemson, Georgia State, Kansas, Ole Miss, Missouri State, and Wisconsin, followed by the Joan Joyce Classic, Feb. 13-16 with Florida Atlantic, Dartmouth, Louisville, Minnesota, NC State, Purdue, and Villanova. The neutral site games between non-FAU teams will air on FloSports. Following non-conference home matchups against FIU (Feb. 19), UCF (Feb. 26) and Toledo (Mar. 5), all airing on FAUSports.com, the Owls will open AAC play hosting Wichita State from Mar. 7-9. This will be followed by series’ against Charlotte (Mar. 21-23), USF (Apr. 4-6), North Texas (Apr. 11-13) and concluding with Memphis (Apr. 25-27).The baseball team’s ESPN+ schedule opens on Mar. 18 with their second matchup of the season against Miami, followed by their first AAC series versus Rice from Mar. 21-23. The Owls will host conference series’ against Memphis (Apr. 11-13), Wichita State (Apr. 17-19), and USF (May 9-11). Also on the home broadcast schedule is an outing against FIU and second matchup versus FGCU, both on FAUSports.com (May 13). |
