UF WBK: McGill Secures Triple-Double in UF’s 26-Point Victory Over Mizzou

Florida’s 93-67 road win at Missouri was an all-out effort with Jeriah Warren and Liv McGill both posting 20+ point performances.

COLUMBIA, Mo.— The Gators defeated the Tigers 93-67 inside Mizzou Arena to tally their second SEC win of 2025. Florida was led in scoring by Jeriah Warren with a career high 27-point performance. Freshman Liv McGill followed with 21-points and led on the boards with 11 rebounds. McGill also distributed 10 assists to record UF’s first triple-double since 2017.

Despite Missouri being the No. 1 team in the SEC and No. 6 team in the nation for three-point shooting, Florida held them to 29.4 percent from behind the arc. Mizzou was only able to post five three pointers in Sunday’s outing compared to UF’s season high of 12.

Florida ultimately dominated on both ends of the hardwood Sunday afternoon, out-rebounding the Tigers 37-25, and shooting 55.7 percent from the field compared to Mizzou’s 46.3.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
IN THE FIRST:

  *   UF posted 12 points in less than four minutes to open up play (6:08)
  *   McGill went 5-7 from the field, including 2-2 from the three to lead UF with 10 points
  *   12 of Florida’s 26 points were recorded inside the paint
  *   Florida out-rebounded Missouri 9-5
  *   McGill led all in ball distribution, tallying three assists
  *   At the end of the first, Florida held a nine-point lead (26-17)

IN THE SECOND:

  *   Florida tallied an additional 19 points, shooting 50 percent from the field (7-14)
  *   The Gators shot a game high 57.1 percent (4-7) from the three-point line
  *   McGill and Kyle led on the boards, grabbing four rebounds apiece
  *   UF’s six assists were tallied across four players
  *   Florida maintained a nine-point lead to end the first half (45-36)

IN THE THIRD:

  *   Jeriah Warren led all in scoring with a 13-point period, shooting 4-7 from the field (57%)
  *   The third marked UF’s second highest scoring period of the game with 24 points
  *   McGill led with three assists to mark Florida’s third consecutive quarter with six total assists
  *   The Gators recorded a game high 10 rebounds with five players contributed on the boards
  *   UF posted 12 of its 24 points inside the paint

IN THE FOURTH:

  *   Florida held a 29-point lead in the fourth to mark its largest of the game (2:22)
  *   UF shot 100 percent from the free throw line (6-6)
  *   Kyle led all in scoring with 10 points
  *   Reynolds hit Florida’s only two blocks of the period
  *   The Gators shot a game high 61.5 percent from the field (8-13)
  *   Florida held Mizzou to a game low 10 points
