MEMPHIS LEADING NATION IN KEY WINS
After earning a Quad 2 victory with a 68-64 home win over North Texas on January 5, Memphis leads Division I in Quad 1 and Quad 2 victories with 10. No other team has eight or nine such victories, while only four schools – Alabama, Auburn, Marquette and Oregon – each have seven Q1 and Q2 wins.

Memphis’ PJ Haggerty is fifth in Division I with 22.2 points per game, while UTSA’s Primo Spears is ninth with 21.0 points per contest.

North Texas ranks fifth in Division I in scoring defense at 58.6 points per game allowed. The Mean Green lead The American in turnover margin at +3.9 per contest.

UAB is first in Division I with 20.13 fastbreak points per game. UTSA is eighth with 17.38 points per game on the break, partly due to averaging 10.3 steals per game, which is 10th in Division I.
