THREE TEAMS UNDEFEATED IN CONFERENCE PLAY

Through the first three games of the season, three teams are 3-0 on the year in The American. UTSA, North Texas, and South Florida have all won their first three games, The Bulls took down previously undefeated Temple on Saturday, 65-56.

HARDAWAY HITS GAME WINNER

Junior North Texas guard Ereauna Hardaway kept the Mean Green undefeated in conference play on Saturday, hitting the game-winning layup with two seconds remaining against Memphis to lift North Texas past the Tigers 73-71. She finished with 18 points and seven assists.

ROADRUNNERS OFF TO HISTORIC START

Using a 60-53 win over Tulsa on Saturday, UTSA improved to 12-2 on the season. The 12-2 record reflects the program’s best-ever through 14 games. Additionally, UTSA is 3-0 in league action for the first time since the 2009-10 squad accomplished the feat in the Southland, and the win was the 50th of Head Coach Karen Aston’s tenure.

NORTH TEXAS, TULANE FACE OFF

Wednesday will feature two of the top five teams in the conference as 3-0 North Texas will travel to New Orleans to take on 2-1 Tulane. First tip is schedule for 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN+. The Green Wave are 6-2 at home, while the Mean Green are riding a four-game winning streak.

AMERICAN IN THE NET

Three teams in The American are above the rest in the latest NCAA NET rankings. UTSA leads the pack at 59, while South Florida comes in at 65 and Tulane is at 95.
