#HLMBB Player of the Week
Dantez Walton | Northern Kentucky | Senior | Forward | Lima, Ohio
Walton poured in his second 30-point, 10-rebound double-double in the last three games in NKU’s contest at Arkansas, which is receiving votes in both the AP and Coaches Polls. Walton poured in 30 points and 10 rebounds, while adding a career-high-tying four steals, career-high four blocks and a pair of assists. The senior forward shot 10-of-14 (71 percent) from the field and 4-of-6 (67 percent) from three-point range. Walton alone made more three-pointers against the Razorbacks than any of their previous opponents converted in a game as Arkansas entered allowing just 14 percent shooting from long range. Dantez is currently the only DI player with multiple 30-point double-doubles this season. Across the three Division I games as part of the Collegiate Hoops Roadshow, which was spread between Nov. 17-30, he averaged 29 points and 9.7 rebounds per game to be named to the All-Tournament Team.
