MBB | Carroll Named AAC Player of the Week

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Redshirt junior forward Tre Carroll of the Florida Atlantic men’s basketball team was named American Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the first time in his career, announced by the league Monday afternoon.

Carroll has been a tremendous asset for the Owls off the bench on the year. Against FIU, he set a new career-high of 24 points on the night. Within the first 20 minutes of the game, he recorded 18 points, going 6-8 from the field. Finishing the evening having played 23 minutes, he went 9-14 from the field with five rebounds, two assists, a steal, and 5-5 from the line to lead the Owls to a 88-77 victory.
