NORTON REACHES 200 WINS

UAB head coach Randy Norton reached the 200-win milestone last week when the Blazers defeated Southern Miss 87-66. All 200 of his wins have come while coaching at UAB.

BURTON CLOSING IN ON WINS MILESTONE

North Texas Head Coach Jason Burton is closing in on 200 career wins. Burton is just one win away and will look to capture his 200th win on Wednesday, December 4 at home against Tennessee State at 12 p.m. ET on ESPN+.

GREEN WAVE DEFEAT FLORIDA

For a second straight season an American Athletic Conference team has defeated Florida. This year, Tulane took down the Gators in St. Petersburg, Florida 83-81. Five players reached double-figures for the Green Wave, led by freshman Kendall Sneed’s 22 points. Sneed also dished out 11 assists to earn American Freshman of the Week honors.

The South Florida Bulls have loaded up their non-conference slate and enter the week with the third hardest strength of schedule in the country.

RIM PROTECTORS

The UAB Blazers have been impressive around the basket while on defense this season, ranking 12th in the nation in blocks per game with 5.9. Rayne Tucker leads the Blazers with 1.57 blocks per game, while Maddie Walsh ads 1.43 blocks per game.
