American Athletic Conference Weekly Football Honors | Nov. 2

IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly football honors from the final week of the 2024 regular season.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Greg Desrosiers Jr. • Jr. • RB • Memphis

Desrosiers accounted for 125 scrimmage yards and three touchdowns to lead Memphis to a 34-24 win at No. 17 Tulane, snapping the Green Wave’s regular-season conference winning streak at 17 games. Desrosiers rushed for 41 yards and a touchdown on six carries and had eight receptions for 84 yards and two TDs. Desrosiers’ 29-yard touchdown run with 11:02 left in the third quarter gave the Tigers a 24-10 lead as part of a stretch of 20 consecutive Memphis points.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Kourtlan Marsh • Sr. • DB • Memphis

Marsh keyed the Memphis defense in a 34-24 win at No. 17 Tulane, giving the Tigers back-to-back 10-win seasons for the first time in program history. Marsh had a team-high six tackles, a pass breakup and two critical forced fumbles to keep the Green Wave from getting back in the game.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Michael O’Shaughnessy • Gr. • P • Charlotte

O’Shaughnessy averaged 48.4 yards on seven punts, including a long of 77 yards, with two punts of at least 50 yards and two downed inside the 20 as the 49ers took a 29-27 win against UAB in the season finale.

HONORABLE MENTION

Bryson Daily • Jr. • QB • Army

Rushed for 147 yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries and completed 10 of 17 passes for 190 yards and a TD in a 29-24 win against UTSA, capping an 8-0 season in conference play.

CJ Campbell Jr. • Jr. • RB • Florida Atlantic

Rushed for 100 yards on 15 carries and had four receptions for 118 yards and a touchdown in a 63-16 win at Tulsa.

Braxton Woodson • So. • QB • Navy

Rushed for 125 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries and completed 12 of 19 passes for 165 yards and a touchdown in a 34-20 win at East Carolina.

Makenzie McGill II • RFr. • RB • North Texas

Rushed for 155 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries in a 24-17 win at Temple.

E.J. Warner • Jr. • QB • Rice

Completed 27 of 42 passes for 430 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-28 win against South Florida.
