St. John’s defeated Harvard 77-64 on the day when former HOF St John’s coach and legend Lou Carnesecca passed away, November 30, 2024, at Carnesecca Arena in Queens. The Red Storm improved to 6-1, while Harvard dropped to 4-3. RJ Luis led St. John’s with 24 points and 10 rebounds, complemented by Kadary Richmond’s 18 points and 8 boards. Coach Rick Pitino praised the team’s defense and rebounding. St. John’s controlled the game early, holding a 40-28 halftime lead and dominating the paint with 42 points. Harvard’s standout was Chandler Pigge, scoring 15 points in the loss.
