USF WBB: South Florida Falls To No. 17/21 TCU, 87-46

Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands – Nov. 30, 2024 – South Florida women’s basketball (4-5) fell to TCU (8-0), 87-46 in its second and final game in the Cayman Islands Classic on Saturday night.

Sophomore guard Vittoria Blasigh led USF with 14 points, which marked her fifth double-digit performance of the year.

TCU’s Haley Van Lith led all scorers with a 23-point showing and Sedona Price (17 points, 13 rebounds) locked in a double-double performance. Madison Conner (14 points) and Taylor Bigby (10 points) rounded out the four Horned Frogs who finished in double-figures.

HOW THE GAME WAS DECIDED

TCU outscored USF, 24-5 in the final stanza to secure the Bulls defeat.

NOTABLE NUMBERS

  • Dembele (six assists) has recorded 3+ assists in 38 straight games, the longest active streak in DI.
  • Dembele (3 assists) now has 498 career assists, two away from the 500 assists milestone.
  • TCU now holds a 5-2 advantage in the all-time series with USF.
