IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly football honors from Week 13 of the 2024 season.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
O’Mega Blake • Jr. • WR • Charlotte
Blake led Charlotte to a 39-27 win at Florida Atlantic with three long touchdown receptions and 205 receiving yards among his five catches. Two of his TD catches gave Charlotte a lead, including a 47-yard score in the fourth quarter that put the 49ers ahead for good. Blake added a 54-yard touchdown in the first quarter to put Charlotte on the board, while he added a 75-yard TD late in the third quarter. Blake leads all NCAA FBS players with 24.1 yards per reception in 2024..
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jimmori Robinson • Sr. • LB • UTSA
Robinson had school records with 4.0 sacks and 5.5 tackles for loss – the most among all FBS players in a game this season in both categories – to lead UTSA to a 51-27 win against Temple, securing bowl eligibility for the Roadrunners for the fifth consecutive season. Robinson had seven total tackles along with three quarterback hurries as part of a defense that limited the Owls to 289 total yards and only 70 rushing yards. Robinson leads The American with 9.5 sacks and 15.5 tackles for loss in 2024.
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Stephen Rusnak • Jr. • K • Charlotte
Rusnak scored 15 points to help Charlotte to a 39-27 win at Florida Atlantic as he went 4-for-4 on field goal attempts and 3-for-3 on PATs. Rusnak made field goals of 50, 45, 20 and 40 yards, giving the 49ers points on four of five drives between the first and third quarters. Rusnak improved to 11-for-11 on field goal attempts this season and is the only American Athletic Conference kicker who is perfect on at least 10 attempts.

Rushed for 131 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries in a 63-30 win against Tulsa.

Rushed for a career-high 178 yards and two touchdowns in a 51-27 win against Temple.
