LANGFORD EARNS FIRST WIN

First year Tulane head coach Ashely Langford earned her first win with the Green Wave on Saturday, November 16 when they defeated Grambling 89-65 in New Orleans. Tulane will travel to Baton Rouge to take on No. 7 LSU on Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET.

JENKINS NAMED TO USBWA PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

UTSA senior forward Jordyn Jenkins made national headlines this week after being named one of the five USBWA Players of the Week. Jenkins averaged 28.5 points and 11.5 rebounds to lead the Roadrunners past UTEP and New Mexico State.

UAB BLAZES TO 3-0 START

The UAB Blazers have started off on a hot streak, winning their first three games of the season. UAB has won by an average of 21 points in the three wins. As of Nov. 19, The Blazers have five players averaging double-figures: Journy Armstead (11.7 ppg), Sara Bershers (12.0 ppg), Tracey Bershers (11.3 ppg), Maddie Walsh (14.0 ppg) and Jade Weathersby (15.3 ppg).

OWLS BACK ON TRACK

After dropping the first game of the season by two points, the Rice Owls have stormed back to win four straight games. Dominique Ennis leads the Owls in scoring with 12.8 per game, while Sussy Ngulefac is averaging 10 points per game while making 62 percent of her shots.

BURTON, NORTON CLOSING IN ON WINS MILESTONE

UAB head coach Randy Norton and North Texas Head Coach Jason Burton are closing in on 200 career wins. Norton sits just two wins away at 198, while Burton is three away at 197.
