It’s now week 11 in the NFL, the night air is getting cooler, the leaves have all but fallen to the ground here in Michigan. It’s football weather to go with Football season in the NFL.
The Jaguars have had a tumultuous start to the season to say the least. Their all purpose RB has in and out of the roster sue to injuries. Trevor Lawrence is still inconsistent, and dealing with an injury himself. So we get to see Mac Jones starting for the Jaguars. He’s served theJaguars with 139 yards, Zero touchdowns and two interceptions in his three games played this far.
While the Lions looks to be getting healthier at the right time of the season with boasting the best record in the NFC at 8-1. When the offense hasn’t been at his best. The defense or special teams units have delivered. The defense may give up yards, bit are one of the best teams in the Red Zone, at stopping teams from scoring. The Jaguars not so much.
The Jaguars defense is ranked 32nd in the league. Giving up 390.6 yards per game. All signs say it should be a blowout. Even Vegas gives the Jaguars a -14 point spread. But at the same time, these are the type of games some teams look past to their next opponent. In other words, a trap game. Where a team doesn’t take the lesser team seriously.
But we here every week from the coaching staff, the players, even us fans. This team takes every game, every week seriously. They have no quit in them.
Keys to the game:
Lions outrank the Jaguars in every statistical facet of the NFL. So it’s run the ball, set-up play-action passing. The Oline needs to keep Goff away from pressure.
The defense, just do what it should do. Stop them in the red Zone. And keep getting turnovers.
If everything goes right:
Jaguars 17
Lions 48
If it falls apart;
Jaguars 21
Lions 24
