BOCA RATON, Fla. – Week 10 of the 2024 NFL season is in the books with six former Florida Atlantic Owls seeing action. Here’s a rundown of how each performed during the 10th week (All gametimes listed below are Eastern):

#0 Azeez Al-Shaair | LB | Houston Texans
– After missing three games due to injury, Al-Shaair returned to action in prime time, taking on the Detroit Lions. He did not miss a beat in 61 snaps, logging eight tackles, two for a big loss, and forced a fumble. The Texans ultimately fell on a last-second field goal by a score of 26-23.
Texans’ Record: 6-4

#66 Evan Anderson | DT | San Francisco 49ers
– Anderson continues to make impact in his snaps. Seeing the field 15 times, he made two stops including a run stuff for a loss in the red zone that forced the opposing Tampa Bay Buccaneers to settle for a field goal. The 49ers picked up the victory with a field goal as time expired, winning 23-20.

#91 Trey Hendrickson | DE | Cincinnati Bengals
– Playing on Thursday night against their AFC North foe Baltimore Ravens, Hendrickson logged two tackles, one for a loss. He continues to lead the NFL with 12 TFLs and remains the only player currently with double digit sacks on the season at 11. The Bengals ultimately lost a heartbreaker, 35-34.
Bengals’ Record: 4-6
Next Game: at L.A. Chargers – Sunday, 8:20 p.m. (NBC)
#43 Matthew Hayball | P | New Orleans Saints
– Hayball punted five times as the Saints picked up a 20-17 victory over their division rival Atlanta Falcons. He did an effective job in pinning Atlanta’s offense, holding the team to only eight yards on their return.
Saints’ Record: 3-7
Next Game: vs. Cleveland – Sunday, 1 p.m. (FOX)
#42 James Pierre | CB | Pittsburgh Steelers
– The play of Pittsburgh’s 28-27 win over the Washington Commanders was made by Pierre. As Washington drove down the field to the 50-yard line, Pierre broke up a pass on third-and-nine to force a fourth down, which Pittsburgh’s defense successfully prevented to seal their victory. He made two tackles in 36 snaps, 13 on defense and 23 on special teams.
Steelers’ Record: 7-2
Next Game: vs. Baltimore – Sunday, 1 p.m. (CBS)
#26 Devin Singletary | RB | New York Giants
– “Motor” made the most of his 17 snaps, carrying the ball eight times for 40 yards. He also caught his lone target as the Giants fell to the Carolina Panthers in overtime, 20-17, in a special Germany matchup.
Giants’ Record: 2-8
Next Game: Singletary and the Giants will have a bye week before hosting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, Nov. 24.
