The Owls move to 2-7 on the season, 0-5 in the American Athletic Conference. OFFENSE Redshirt freshman RB Gemari Sands had the highlight of the evening for Florida Atlantic, hauling in a 33-yard pass from redshirt junior QB Cam Fancher with just one hand Redshirt junior RB CJ Campbell logged his 10th touchdown of the season, a two-yard reception from redshirt freshman QB Kasen Wiseman Redshirt sophomore WR Jabari Smith Jr. continued his impressive season with 64 yards on five receptions and a touchdown DEFENSE Freshman DL Gavench Marcelin recorded the first sack of his career CJ Heard, true freshman safety, once again led the team in tackles with six Graduate LB Desmond Tisdol made five tackles and forced a fumble UP NEXT FAU travels to Philadelphia to take on Temple on Saturday, Nov. 16 at the Lincoln Financial Field.
