(On what gives him the confidence that the team can turn the season around) “For me the
confidence is down there in that locker room and it’s all those players and coaches. Look,
you continue to grind, you continue to put in the time and the effort and the work. What’s
the definition of insanity, right? I mean, you’ve just got to keep doing it over and over and
over, but in this case, we want different results. I think that’s where my excitement comes
from just with those guys and knowing that they’ll get it fixed.”
(On injury updates) “Ezra [OL Ezra Cleveland], probably not going to make it to this game,
that high ankle, those things, they’re tough. Brandon’s [OL Brandon Scherff] going to go
today at practice and we’ll see where he’s at, still kind of almost a gametime decision with
him, but he’s a tough kid. BT’s [WR Brian Thomas Jr.] done well. Look, still got to be cautious
a little bit with that, so we’re going to make sure that – he’s not going to be 100 percent
obviously and nobody is at this time, but we don’t want a setback obviously with him or any
of the guys. Etienne’s [RB Travis Etienne Jr.] been doing some good things, getting stronger.
Another one that’s going to be probably right up to the gametime. Darby’s [CB Ronald
Darby] fine and Gabe [WR Gabe Davis] has been working through his shoulder issue and
probably another one that’s going to be gametime. Dewey’s [S Andrew Wingard] Dewey. He
had a better week. We’re going to see today and make a decision today.”
(On if RB Tank Bigsby’s ankle injury was sustained in the game and how he’s been doing)
“Coming out of the game. He’s fine. Again, ankle injuries are tough especially for running
backs but for all players. He battled through a little bit yesterday and we’ll see where he’s at
today.”
(On if he would consider Thomas Jr.’s status to be a gametime decision) “Yes.”
(On what the environment for an away team is like at Lincoln Financial Field) “It’s hostile,
man. It’s really a great environment, really, especially the later games, those fans will get
out there and honestly, they’ll tailgate all day and get ready. Just what they do and they’re
going to pack the Linc and be loud. It’s really a great atmosphere and for them right now,
with the success they’re having, it should be a great crowd and they’ll be jazzed up.”
(On if having a “you vs. the world” mentality could be a good thing) “Yeah, I mean ,that’s got
to be your mentality a little bit going into these games and honestly situations like that too
can kind of just relax you and maybe, hopefully ease some tension or some stress that’s
going on and just allow you to go play.”
(On having a good reception by the Eagles’ fanbase in 2022 and if he thinks that will change
this year) “100 percent. 100 percent, yeah. I wouldn’t expect anything different. I’d say it’s a
great fan base. Very passionate about the Eagles.”
(On if OL Cooper Hodges will play if OL Ezra Cleveland can’t go) “Yes.”
(On what he saw from Hodges vs. Green Bay) “I thought he settled into the game. Didn’t get
a ton of reps obviously last week, but this week in that spot, getting more of the work, you
see some calmness. Got his work cut out for him obviously with these with these D-tackles
that they have but he’s up for the challenge, he’s looking forward to it and expect him to
play well.”
(On who would replace OL Brandon Scherff if he can’t go) “Well, we’ve got Blake. [OL] Blake
Hance could slide in there easily.”
(On what he’s seen from Eagles DT Jalen Carter) “He’s playing good. Playing good. He’s big,
powerful, comes off the ball well. I mean, you can see why they drafted him obviously, but
he’s playing extremely well, playing physical.”
(On the challenge of preparing for a variety of pass rushers) “Yeah, usually it’s the edge guys
or one guy, maybe two. In this case, they’ve got a number of guys, to your point, that can get
after the passer. It’s a great challenge for our offensive line and but each week is that way.
That’s the NFL: each week you’re going to go against good pass rushers and it’s just a
matter of just working your technique, trusting, great communication obviously and just
being physical.”
(On what he’s seen from RB Keilan Robinson) “Yeah, I mean, it’s good to get him back out
there running around more on the look teams. He’s done some good things, special teams,
stuff like that. It’s good to open his window and get him back so still got a couple of weeks
and see how he goes, see how he progresses.”
JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Jaguars have traded OL Cam Robinson to the Minnesota Vikings for draft pick compensation, the team announced.
