CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Florida Atlantic women’s golf (299-295-294-888) (+24) finished tied for seventh at the Hurricane Invitational hosted by Miami on Tuesday. This was the final event of the fall season. The hosts, Miami, won the team title at -12 – the only team to finish under par.
Quick HitsThe Owls were led by Charlotte Perkins and Maddie Rathjen, each in a tie for 24th.Perkins had the Owls’ low round on Tuesday with an even-par 72 that featured 16 pars, one birdie, and one bogey.Rathjen put a cap on her best event of the fall with a one-over 73. The highlight of the day for the freshman was an eagle on the par five seventh hole.The Owls had two other rounds of one-over 73.
