Stritter Among Nation’s Best
Charlotte goalkeeper Leo Stritter has been one of the top in the nation this season. With seven shutouts on the year, he is tied for the second most in the country. He also has the third best goals against average at .545 goals per game allowed.
Tigers in the Driver’s Seat
With a three-point lead and tiebreaker over Charlotte, the Memphis Tigers are in the driver’s seat for the top seed in the conference tournament. With three games remaining, Memphis will take on fourth place South Florida in Tampa on Friday at 7 p.m. ET.
Traore Facilitating
Current American Offensive Player of the Week Aboubacar Traore is 11th in the NCAA in total assists (11) and 9th in assists per game (0.64). This past week, he scored a goal and assisted on two more to help the Owls beat South Florida 3-1.
South Florida Showdown
This weekend features two Florida schools battling it out as Florida Atlantic travels from Boca Raton to Miami to take on FIU at 7 p.m. ET. The Panthers enter the weekend tied for second in the conference at 2-1-1, while the Owls are tied for fourth at 1-2-1.
