Complimentary Football Cooks The Seahwaks To Perfection

By: Jeremy T. Ballreich

September 30, 2024 started like any other Monday. Most of America woke up and prepared for the start of their work week. But the Detroit Lions had a taste for revenge, and Seahawks were on the Menu.

Eight o’clock pm, we got to see the new alternate uniforms for the Lions take the field. They were absolutely gorgeous!

The first drive for both teams stalled out quickly. Then, the Lions started driving, utilizing the ground game and cooked up a Montgomery touchdown. They started scoring, and turned it into a barrage of rushing touchdowns in the first half. To the tune of 21-7 at half time.

The second half, well the defense gave up a total of 22 points, but the offense scored another 21 of their own. Some great things, and not so great happened throughout the game. But the Lions came out the victors.

Offensive Kings:

Jared Goff QB/WR?:

He had an NFL historic day. 18/18 passing for 292 yards, two touchdowns. And caught a pass for a receiving touchdown of 7 yards (yes, he was a receiver! Mind Blown!)

David Montgomery RB:

12 carries for 40 yards, 3.3 yards per carry and a tuddy!

Jahmyr Gibbs RB:

14 carries for 78 yards, 5.6 yards per carry and two buddies.

Amon-Ra St. Brown WR/QB?:

Six receptions fir 40 yards and tuddy. One for one passing for 7 yards and tuddy!

Jameson Williams WR/Speed King:

Two receptions for 80 yards and a tuddy.

Defensive Kings:

Kerby Joseph FS:

Five tackles solo, Four assisted and One INT (in the end zone again, one-handed no less!)

Jack Campbell LB:

Six tackles solo, one assisted and a forced fumble

DJ Reader DT

Only one tackle solo, but a huge sack on Seattle signal caller Geno Smith.

Aiden Hutchinson DE:

While not recording a tackle , he was still a pressure monster creating 10 pressures within the game.

My duds of the game:

James Houston DE:

Only reason I knew he was on the field, he committed 2 defensive penalties. Ugh

Carlton Davis III CB:

While everyone is angry with rookie CB Terrion Arnold for committing 3 penalties for 25 yards, on 12 targets (newsflash, he’s a rookie!) Mr. Cooked Davis committed 5 penalties for 52 total yards. And is lucky to stay in the game the way he went after the referee, who called the penalty!!!! This is a team leader at the position, setting a bad example for the rookie!!! This is absolutely unacceptable behavior for a tenured vet in the league. Don’t want the penalty called? Don’t grab the arms and jersey of the receiver you’d be cooked by. It’s the NFL, not the NCAA, good sir!

The Lions served their revenge on the Seahwaks, by getting a lead, and never relinquishing it. Showing why the Lions are always the Kings of the concrete jungle of Detroit, Michigan!

Final Score:

SEA 29

DET 42
