USF WBB: South Florida Women’s Basketball To Face Mississippi St. & TCU In The Cayman Islands Classic

Tampa, Fla. – Oct. 2, 2024 – South Florida women’s basketball continues to structure one of the top non-conference schedules in the nation, as the Bulls will play Mississippi St. (Nov. 29) and TCU. (Nov. 30) in the Cayman Islands Classic. Both games will tip off at 7:30 p.m. EST.

The second edition of the women’s Cayman Island Classic, played Nov. 29-30 at John Gray Gymnasium marks the first Cayman Island Classic that South Florida has competed in.

The Bulls have a record of 2-4 versus TCU and are 2-2 against Mississippi St., including an epic 67-63 overtime win against No. 6/7 Mississippi St. in 2020.

South Florida will face a Who’s Who of the women’s college basketball world during its non-conference schedule this season. This season’s nonconference slate includes seven of the Bulls’ foes who advanced to the 2024 postseason…Opponents that took part in the 2024 NCAA Tournament – at UConn (Nov. 10), Vanderbilt (Nov. 14), vs. Louisville (Nov. 24, WBCA Showcase), at South Carolina (Dec. 15), and Duke (Dec. 21)…Opponents that took part in the 2024 WBIT – TCU (Nov. 29, Cayman Islands Classic), and Mississippi St. (Nov. 30, Cayman Islands Classic).
