BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic women’s soccer will take on the Bulls of South Florida on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 7 p.m. before taking the road to Birmingham, Ala., to face the Blazers on Sunday. Sept 29 at 2 p.m. EST.

The Owls (2-4-2, 1-1-0 AAC) will play South Florida (6-1-2, 1-0-1 AAC) in Boca Raton for the first time since joining the American Athletic Conference. The last time these two teams faced each other was in the 2023 AAC Championship tournament when Florida Atlantic shut out the Bulls to advance to the semifinals. The match on Thursday night will air on FAUSports.com. After playing at home in back-to-back matches, the Owls will then travel to Alabama to face UAB (4-2-2, 1-0-1) in a Sunday conference matchup to close out the week. Thia qill mark the 12th match between these two teams in program history.

All home games at the FAU Soccer Stadium are free admission. Fans will receive a bucket hat for attending Thursday’s match.

In the 22nd minute of the match, Diaz scored the first goal of her career to extend the lead for Florida Atlantic against Charlotte
Senior Drew Dempsey and Horan are now the leading goal scorers on the season for Florida Atlantic with two each

This is the first season with head coach Chris Brown at the helm for the Bulls
Anna Sutter is the leading goal scorer for the Bulls, with five on the year
South Florida averages 2.22 goals per game with a total of 20 this season
