| 9/10/2024 | Football BOCA RATON, Fla – Florida Atlantic football is set to host Girls Flag Football Celebration Day on Saturday, Sep. 14 as part of their Shula Bowl matchup against FIU, kicking off at 6 p.m. Almost 30 girls flag football organizations from Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties have already signed up by filling out the form HERE, with over 600 total tickets being distributed. The celebration day will honor the rise in popularity of flag football among young women, tapping into a growing movement and helping to promote and support female athletes in a traditionally male-dominated sport. For the girls and organizations in attendance, there will be in-game presentations recognizing their contribution to the sport.
