9/9/2024 | Men’s Golf MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Florida Atlantic men’s golf moved up the leaderboard on Monday at the Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Intercollegiate. Led by sub-70 rounds from Guilherme Grinberg and NaShawn Tyson, the Owls posted a team score of five-under – tied for second-lowest in the field – to move into eighth place overall. Quick Hits Grinberg (E) signed for the lowest round in the field with a 67 on Monday. Starting on the 10th tee, the Brazilian birdied his first three holes. He would eventually go out in -4, 32 before adding one more birdie on the second nine to move up 47 spots on the leaderboard to a tie for 27th.Tyson (-4) also made a huge move up 29 spots into a tie for 10th. The sophomore used four birdies on the second nine to sign for a career-best 68.He is three shots back of the individual lead held by UTEP’s Dylan Teeter (-7) entering Tuesday’s final round.
