What Coach Bohon Said:
On this afternoon’s result:
“I’m unhappy because we compete to win. So let me just start with that. Anytime we get shut out and we lose anywhere, but especially at home, we’re not happy about that. The challenge now is, what can we take from this that will help us?
“We played a different formation. We played some new players. Norah [Abbott] got her first collegiate start, playing 90 minutes so thought she was a bright spot. They’re a really good team, so you have to kind of pick your poison, so to speak. It wasn’t really till we started trying to open up and press for a goal, and then they broke us down on that last one, which is a bit of a bummer, but it was good collective organization and patience and implementation of a new formation that we hadn’t played all season.
“Honestly, Florida State’s a great team, and anytime you play them, our goal is to continue to try and compete and get better from it. So I think this game will hopefully help us for the SEC. But again, we’re not we’re not happy with the loss”
