INGLEWOOD, Calif. — Aug. 29, 2024 — The 2024 NFL regular season kicks off next week on Thursday, Sept. 5 and NFL Media provides an extensive lineup of fall programming for fans to enjoy.

NFL Network Weekly Programming Lineup

NFL Network’s weekly programming lineup for the 2024 NFL season features:

  • “Good Morning Football” – The Emmy Award-winning “Good Morning Football” airs Monday-Friday from 8-10 a.m. ET with hosts Jamie Erdahl, Peter Schrager, Kyle Brandt, Akbar Gbajabiamila and Sherree Burruss. In addition to the daily edition of “Good Morning Football” airing on NFL Network, a new two-hour series “GMFB: Overtime” streams for free on The Roku Channel Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. – noon ET, and will air in syndication across various local stations beginning Monday, Sept. 2. Check local listings for showtimes and stations.
  • “The Insiders” – Join NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport, Mike Garafolo, Tom Pelissero and Judy Battista on “The Insiders” Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at 7 p.m. ET. NFL Network’s team of Insiders – along with reporters Taylor Bisciotti, Jeffri Chadiha, Bridget Condon, Stacey Dales, Omar Ruiz, Jane Slater, Sara Walsh, Cameron Wolfe and Steve Wyche – provide the latest news from around the league.
  • “NFL Fantasy Live” – “NFL Fantasy Live” airs Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at 6 p.m. ET, and Thursday at 5 p.m. ET. NFL Network fantasy experts Marcas Grant, Michael F. Florio and Adam Rank are joined by analytics expert Cynthia Frelund and host Patrick Claybon to provide the analysis and advice needed to dominate your fantasy league.
  • “NFL GameDay Kickoff” – Editions of “NFL GameDay Kickoff” air Monday at 7 p.m. ET leading up to “Monday Night Football” with host Colleen Wolfe and analyst Steve Mariucci, and Thursday at 6 p.m. ET leading up to “Thursday Night Football” with host Rhett Lewis and analyst Maurice Jones-Drew.

  • “NFL Weekly Slate” – Chris Rose hosts “NFL Weekly Slate,” a new one-hour show on NFL Network recapping the biggest games from the previous week and previewing the top matchups in the upcoming week, airing Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at 5 p.m. ET.
  • “NFL GameDay View” – “NFL GameDay View” airs Friday at 7 a.m. ET with Patrick Claybon, Cynthia Frelund and Gregg Rosenthal picking who will win each game on the week’s NFL schedule. Additionally, various NFL Network analysts and reporters join to provide further insights into each game.
  • “Second Acts” – Editions of the “NFL Players: Second Acts” podcast hosted by Charles “Peanut” Tillman and Roman Harper air monthly on NFL Network throughout the 2024 NFL season. Tillman and Harper sit down with NFL legends to discuss how they have taken the passion, drive and dedication that made them stars on the gridiron and used it to achieve success in their post-playing careers. Featured on “Second Acts” are former NFL MVP Cam Newton (September), NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell (October), Pro Football Hall of Famer Darrell Green (November), former NFL wide receiver Nate Burleson (December) and former first-round pick Marcus Spears (January).

    Sunday “GameDay” Schedule

Sunday is “GameDay,” and NFL Network remains the go-to destination for a full day of comprehensive coverage:

  • “NFL GameDay Morning” – NFL Network’s Sunday programming begins at 9 a.m. ET with “NFL GameDay Morning” – the most comprehensive NFL pregame show on television. Rich Eisen hosts and is joined each week by analysts Kurt Warner, Steve Mariucci and Gerald McCoy, along with analytics expert Cynthia Frelund, host Colleen Wolfe, Insiders Ian Rapoport, Mike Garafolo and Tom Pelissero, and various NFL Network reporters.   • “NFL GameDay Highlights” – Chris Rose hosts “NFL GameDay Highlights” at 7:30 p.m. ET, providing a recap of the day’s action thus far with highlights leading up to kickoff of the Sunday night matchup.
  • “NFL GameDay Final” – “NFL GameDay Final” airs at 11:30 p.m. ET with Chris Rose and Maurice Jones-Drew recapping the weekend’s games.

Each NFL Network exclusive game will air on local broadcast stations in the markets of the competing teams and will stream acros devices on NFL+.

NFL Network Talent Additions

NFL Network announces the addition of former NFL head coach and linebacker Ron Rivera, eight-year NFL veteran Manti Te’o, former NFL wide receiver Isaiah Stanback and analyst Nate Tice to its on-air roster.

Rivera, Te’o and Stanback will appear regularly on “Good Morning Football” and “GMFB: Overtime,” joining fellow newcomers Akbar Gbajabiamila and Sherree Burruss, and long-standing cast members Jamie Erdahl, Peter Schrager and Kyle Brandt.

Tice will appear on various NFL Network shows, offering deep analysis of NFL trends, statistics and data.

Rivera joins NFL Network following a 13-year career as a head coach with the Carolina Panthers (nine years) and Washington Commanders (four years). During his time with the Panthers, Rivera was named the AP’s NFL Coach of the Year twice (2013 and 2015) and led the team to an appearance in Super Bowl 50. Prior to his coaching career which also included stints as defensive coordinator with the then-San Diego Chargers and Chicago Bears, Rivera played nine seasons at linebacker with the Bears – a career highlighted by a win in Super Bowl XX.

Te’o joins NFL Network following an eight-year NFL playing career with the then-San Diego Chargers, New Orleans Saints and Chicago Bears. A second-round pick out of Notre Dame in 2013, Te’o played four seasons with the Chargers before joining the Saints in 2017. A standout linebacker in college, Te’o played four seasons at Notre Dame and was a Heisman Trophy finalist in 2012.

Stanback joins NFL Network following a six-year NFL playing career as a wide receiver, quarterback and tight end. A fourth-round pick in 2007 of the Dallas Cowboys, Stanback also spent time with the New England Patriots, Seattle Seahawks, New York Giants and Jacksonville Jaguars during his career, which included a win in Super Bowl XLVI. During his four seasons in college at the University of Washington, Stanback played quarterback and wide receiver.

In addition to his work with NFL Network, Tice will continue in his role as writer and podcast host with Yahoo Sports where he analyzes NFL trends and draft prospects. Prior to joining Yahoo Sports, Tice covered the NFL as a writer and podcast host for The Athletic. A former quarterback at the University of Wisconsin, Tice worked in the scouting department of the Atlanta Falcons and was an assistant coach with the then-Oakland Raiders before pursuing  a career in media.
