FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern Sharks Men’s Golf team, under the direction of Head Coach Joey Marino, has announced their 2024-25 tournament schedule.
“We are excited to start the new season, and we do it with some great events this fall. The team is excited to test our skill on a few PGA tour venues with PGA National and Innisbrook,” said Marino. “In all we have some great courses and events this year to test the team’s skill and get ready to compete in post season play at the end of spring. I really look forward to seeing how the team progresses and grow throughout the season and hopefully make a late season push.”
The Sharks tee off the 2024 season at the National Preview on Monday, September 23rd, at the PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens. NSU hosts the annual Shark Invitational starting on Monday, October 7th, at the Grande Oaks Golf Club before closing out the fall schedule with the Copperhead Championship (10/14, Innisbrook Golf Resort) and the Citrus Collegiate Invitational (10/28, Champions Gate).
Nova Southeastern returns to competition at the Matlock Collegiate Classic from the Lone Palm Golf Club (2/10) and plays the following week at the Saint Leo Invitational at Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club (2/17). The Sharks conclude the regular season with a pair of events in March, first playing at the First Federal Southeastern Challenge at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Club (3/10) and finish the campaign at the “Battle at the Shores” hosted by Barry at the Normandy Shores Golf Club (3/31).
The Sunshine State Conference tournament begins on April 13th with NCAA South/Southeast Regional Tournament and the NCAA National Tournament to follow. The NCAA National Championship will be held from May 19th through 23rd at the PGA National Resort in Palm Beach, Fla.
