The Pistons will begin the 2024-25 campaign at home against the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m. inside Little Caesars Arena. Home game highlights of the 2024-25 schedule include Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and the reigning NBA champion Boston Celtics traveling to Little Caesars Arena on Oct. 26, as well as LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers on Nov. 4. Steph Curry, Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors visit Detroit on Jan. 9, while Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving and the Dallas Mavericks come to town on Jan. 31. Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets make their only trip to Little Caesars Arena on Feb. 28 and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren make their lone visit to Detroit on March 15. Returning this season is the second annual NBA In-Season Tournament, now named the Emirates NBA Cup. Each team will play four Group Play games (two home, two road), which will take place on Tuesdays and Fridays from Nov. 12 – Dec. 3. In Group Play, the Pistons will host the Miami HEAT on Nov. 12 and the Milwaukee Bucks on Dec. 3 inside Little Caesars Arena. Eight teams will advance out of Group Play to the Knockout Rounds, which will consist of single-elimination games in the Quarterfinals (played in NBA team markets on Tuesday, Dec. 10 and Wednesday, Dec. 11), Semifinals and Championship (played in Las Vegas on Dec. 14 and Dec. 17, respectively). The Pistons will be launching their 10-game flex plan, a completely customizable ticket package that allows fans to select any 10-or-more games, with no exclusions. The Pistons celebrate the “Season of Giving” presented by Kroger beginning with the Nov. 25 matchup vs. the Toronto Raptors and continuing through the New Years Day matchup with the Orlando Magic. The team will host its annual Kids Day game on Feb. 2 presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, 313 Day presented by Ally on March 13, Pride Night presented by Allegiant Air on March 28 and Fan Appreciation Day on April 11 presented by Hutch’s Jewelry. The Pistons will also host special bobblehead giveaway nights on Jan. 18, Jan. 31 and March 15. The Pistons are scheduled to be on national television three times during the regular season.
