GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Among the nearly 3,000 who earn their University of Florida degrees this weekend are more than 30 Gator student-athletes.
17 members of the 2024 summer graduation class were part of a national and/or conference championship team during their Gator careers.
30 earned Academic All-Southeastern Conference honors.

Summer commencement ceremonies begin Friday, Aug. 9 and runs through Saturday, Aug. 10.
Two spent the last couple of weeks in Paris for the 2024 Olympics:
Jevaughn Powell – Jamaica
Emma Weyant – USA (400m individual medley bronze medalist)
Three were part of NCAA title teams during their careers:
2022 & 2023 NCAA Outdoor Men’s Track & Field – Jacob Miley
2023 NCAA Golf – Joe Pagdin
2023 & 2024 NCAA Outdoor Men’s Track & Field – Jevaughn Powell
Four won NCAA Individual titles:
* Micayla Cronk and Emma Weyant – 2024 NCAA 800 free relay
* Jacob Miley – 2022 NCAA Outdoor 4×400 relay
* Jevaughn Powell – 2023 NCAA Outdoor 4×400 relay
