USF WBB: Mollie Patmore Rejoins South Florida Women’s Basketball Staff; Justin Keller Adds Assistant Coach To His Role

Tampa, Fla. – August 5, 2024 – South Florida women’s basketball head coach Jose Fernandez announced Mollie Patmore is returning as the Director of Basketball Operations and Justin Keller will now be an Assistant Coach/Video Coordinator on Monday.

“We are so excited to bring Mollie (Patmore) back on board as our Director of Operations and elevate Justin (Keller) to an Assistant Coach/Video Coordinator here at South Florida,” said Head Coach Fernandez. “Both Mollie and Justin are incredibly driven individuals and are an integral part of our program. We look forward to watching them execute in their new roles.”

“I am beyond excited to return to the University of South Florida Women’s Basketball Program as the Director of Basketball Operations,” said Patmore. “My two years here as a Graduate Assistant have prepared me for this next step. I’m so thankful to Coach Fernandez for the opportunity to come back and for the confidence he has in me to get the job done. I look forward to being a part of this incredible staff, contributing to the success of this program, and calling Tampa home.”

PATMORE’S RETURN TO THE BAY

Patmore is well acquainted with South Florida women’s basketball, as she was a graduate assistant for two seasons (2022-24). During her two-year tenure, Patmore coordinated all logistics pertaining to all home and away contests, including the itineraries and meals. The Freehold, N.J., native also designed graphics and managed the team’s recruiting account on social media.

From May through August of 2024, Patmore served as the Director of Women’s Basketball Operations at UMBC. While at UMBC she maintained the team’s off-season schedule, began planning travel logistics for the upcoming season, and acted as the liaison for academics, compliance, and housing.

Patmore earned her Bachelor of Science in Sports Management along with a minor in Event Management from the University of Delaware in May 2020. In May of 2024, Patmore graduated from USF’s Vinik Sport and Entertainment Management Program with her Master’s of Business Administration and a Masters in Sport and Entertainment Management.

KELLER RECEIVES UPGRADE

Keller, who was brought onto the staff full-time in July as the program’s Video Coordinator, has added the role of assistant coach to his duties.

From 2022-24, the Tampa native also served as a graduate assistant in the women’s basketball program. During this time Keller managed day-to-day basketball, equipment, and facility operations. He also assisted with cataloging game film recordings, statistics, and produced comprehensive scouting reports and game forecasts. Keller also aided in the development of Dulcy Fankam Mendjiadeu, who was a second-round pick by the Seattle Storm in the 2023 WNBA Draft.
