BASE | McCormack Joins USA Baseball Staff for International Friendship Series

CARY, N.C. – Florida Atlantic head coach John McCormack has been announced as a hitting and bench coach for USA Baseball’s upcoming International Friendship Series.

Led by Alabama State head coach Jose Vasquez, the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team will square off with Chinese Taipei in a five-game series beginning Friday, June 29, in Fayetteville, N.C.

McCormack previously served as a pitching coach for the 14U National Development Team in 2014. Most recently, he managed the Stripes team to victory in the 2019 Stars and Stripes series as part of the Athlete Development Program (ADP) – a four-day invitation-only development opportunity at the National Training Complex in Cary, N.C.

“Coach Mac” is coming off his 16th season at the helm of Florida Atlantic baseball and his 34th season with the program.
