SB | Schlotterbeck Ranked No. 2 in Softball America Two-Way Rankings

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Utility/Pitcher Trinity Schlotterbeck of the Florida Atlantic softball team was ranked as the nation’s No. 2 two-way player for Softball America, as announced by the organization on Saturday morning.In May, Schlotterbeck was ranked No. 3 in the two-way rankings. Earlier in the month, she was named as a Softball American All-American. She was also ranked No. 67 in the top 100 players from SA.The graduate student spent the 2024 season as a starting pitcher and one of the strongest hitters in the lineup. Schlotterbeck completed the season with a 2.67 ERA and ten complete games in the circle with a .293 batting average at the plate.Schlotterbeck finished the season leading the Owls in home runs (10) and runs batted in (47) and set a program record with nine RBI and three home runs in a game on Mar. 10. The Williamsport, Maryland native pitched a total of 144.0 innings with a 16-7 record on the season in which Florida Atlantic reached the NCAA Regionals for the first time since 2016.
