Florida’s 2025 SEC slate has the Gators hosting conference newcomers Oklahoma, and the 2023 National Champions, LSU.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The 2025 Southeastern Conference opponents for Florida women’s basketball have been announced. Highlights within the slate include, Florida welcoming the Oklahoma Sooners to the O’Connell Center for the first time in program history, and the Gators traveling to South Carolina to face off against the 2024 National Champs.
The Gators will also bring Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi State, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt to Gainesville during the 2025 conference season.
Florida’s road slate includes Arkansas, Auburn, Ole Miss, Missouri, South Carolina, Texas A&M, and SEC’s newbie Texas. Gators basketball has only seen the Longhorns a combined four times in program history, with the last meeting dating back to 1997.
The 2025 schedule consists of a single round-robin of home or away (14 games) with one rotating opponent that will be played at home and away (2 games). Each team will play eight home games and eight away games. The rotating opponent changes annually. This marks the 16th season of the 16-game schedule for women’s basketball.
