MARICOPA, Ariz. – Florida Atlantic women’s golf (+25) is tied for seventh after 36 holes at the National Golf Invitational. One round is left to be played on Sunday. UNCW (+7) continues to lead the team competition.
Quick Hits
Amanda Linner and Olivia Bergner tied for the Owls’ low round on Saturday.
Linner came out firing with birdies on four of her first five holes. She would go on to post 73 (+1) and is tied for 29th.
Bergner took a different route to the same score. She circled three birdies and is solo 15th after 36 holes.
Blanka Decker subbed in for Giulia Scarcello in the Owls’ fifth spot and posted a 77. Decker is ineligible for an individual score but can contribute as one of the four team scores.
