All league-sponsored sports have had a Community Service Team since 2004, with at-large teams for men’s and women’s sports being chosen from 1999-2003.

Alicia Dudeney<https://floridagators.com/sports/womens-tennis/roster/alicia-dudeney/16142> leads Florida women’s tennis in community service for a combined 19 hours over five months. Dudeney serves the local Gainesville community in several different areas but spent the most time in the health, civic, and youth categories. Dudeney has immersed herself in providing opportunities and basic needs to children in Gainesville by donating sneakers to elementary schools and facilitating reading programs.

Alicia Dudeney<https://floridagators.com/sports/womens-tennis/roster/alicia-dudeney/16142> also served multiple trips to the University Hospital visiting sick patients to spread joy during their trying times. Outside of volunteering at the hospital and in classrooms, Dudeney has geared her efforts toward fellow student-athletes at the University of Florida. Dudeney has wrapped holiday presents for the underprivileged and tabled on campus to connect with others in her community. Earlier this year Dudeney also participated in the Climb for Cancer with a mission to provide patient-centered support and fund the underserved needs of cancer patients and their families.
