CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Florida Atlantic softball team (30-8, 10-2 AAC) will hit the road to North Carolina for another conference matchup, this time against Charlotte. The series’ first game is on Friday, Apr. 4. with the first pitch is set for 6 p.m. The following games are scheduled for Saturday, Apr. 5, at 6 p.m. and Sunday, Apr. 6, at noon to conclude the series. All games will be aired on ESPN+.
The Owls took the series from the Pirates last week to remain in first place in the American Athletic Conference standings.
THE RUNDOWN
This meeting marks the 34th matchup between these two teams in program history. For the first time, they will face off as members of a new conference. The first matchup dates back to Mar. 27, 1998 when the Owls won 2-0 in Atlanta, Ga, in a neutral site game. The last game against the 49ers was in the C-USA Conference Championship Tournament on May 11, 2023 when the Owls fell 4-3.

- Sophomore Jesiana Mora is 7-7 in stolen bases against AAC opponents.
