- Defensively, Rozentale has grabbed a team-leading 9.3 rebounds per game, while Hubbard and Moore are tied for a team-leading 18 steals, with Hubbard holding a team-best 2.25 steals per game.
- Dyllan Hanna is the Owls’ blocks leader, denying 0.9 shots per game this season.

- Florida Atlantic fell in a 76-56 road battle against the Memphis Tigers this past Saturday.
- The Owls were led by double-digit performances from Aniya Hubbard and Mya Perry, and by a great defensive effort from Janeta Rozentale.
- Hubbard tied a match-leading 19 points, shooting 57 percent (8-of-14) from the field, 100 percent (1-of-1) from 3-point range, and going a perfect 100 percent (2-of-2) at the line, in addition to pulling down five boards, collecting a team-high three steals, and blocking a shot.
- Perry produced a team second-best 16 points, shooting 63 percent (5-of-8) from the field, 50 percent (2-of-4) from beyond the arc, and going a perfect 100 percent (4-of-4) at the line, while also adding a pair of steals.
- Rozentale led the Owls on the glass, tying for a match-leading 12 boards, in addition to scoring seven points, dishing out a pair of assists, and blocking a shot.
- The Owls were extremely efficient at the line, outshooting the Tigers 83.3 percent to 57.1 percent from the charity stripe.
- Florida Atlantic’s best quarter was in the fourth as the Owls outscored the Tigers 20-9 in the final frame.
SCOUTING ECU
- ECU enters this week’s midweek matchup at 10-7 overall and 3-3 in league play. The Pirates are just coming off a 68-61 win over SMU.
- The Pirates are led by Head Coach Kim McNeill, who enters her fifth season and has led the Pirates to a 61-70 record during her half-decade in Greenville, N.C.
- ECU has been paced offensively this season by Danae McNeal and Amiya Joyner. McNeal ranks second in the AAC, averaging 18.9 points per game, while Joyner has turned in a team second-best 11.0 points per game this season.
- The Pirates assists leader this season has been Micah Dennis who has dished out 39 over 11 contests, averaging 3.5 assists per game.
- Defensively, Joyner leads the Pirates on the glass, averaging a team-best 8.6 rebounds per game and has tallied a team-leading 1.6 blocks per game. McNeal has been ECU’s steals leader, grabbing 3.5 steals per game this season.
SERIES HISTORY
- Florida Atlantic trails 0-3 in the all-time series against ECU and Thursday’s matchup will be the first-ever contest between the Owls and the Pirates in Boca Raton. In the last meeting between the two teams, the Owls fell in a close 61-58 road battle against the Pirates on Jan. 8, 2014, in Greenville, N.C.
